Eckhardt's Glove was created in 15th century by Pieter Van Eckhardt, who needed it to wield the Sanglyph, so he could resurrect the Nephilim race.
In the year 2003 Pieter Van Eckhardt uses the glove to kill people with supernatural energy. The killings are dubbed as Monstrum Killings.
After Lara Croft defeated Eckhardt, she picked up his glove along with the Sanglyph and used those to stop Joachim Karel.
