Eros was a member of the Fiamma Nera cult/organisation as a mechanic and rig worker.

Departure from VeniceEdit

"Eros, have you... fixed that rail yet?"
―Marco Bartoli[src]

Eros prepares to hit Lara.

In 1997, the Fiamma Nera abandoned their Venice hideout and left in a cargo plane for an offshore rig. However, they had a stowaway in their midst. Lara Croft. As the leader of the Fiamma Nera, Marco Bartoli, left the cockpit Lara was held distracted by him and held him at gunpoint. From behind, Eros emerged and whacked her over the head with his wrench which he had been using to repair a rail. Lara was rendered unconscious. She was then stripped of her weapons. Upon arrival at the rig she was locked in a cargo room.

"Their Jackanory days are well over."
―Lara Croft[src]

Lara escaped confinement and regained her Dual Pistols. She then set about trying to find more information and escape the rig. During her flight, Eros was shot by Lara in the diving area or some other location on the rig.

Cutscene - Offshore RigEdit

  • Si!

Desktop Theme - Program ErrorEdit

  • I break you in half!

  • Eros shares the same model as all of the melee rig workers which is the reason for the uncertaincy on whether he was killed in Offshore Rig or Diving Area.
  • A Tomb Raider desktop theme based on Tomb Raider II was released with Tomb Raider: Unfinished Business in 1998. One of the sounds included was that of Massimo Marinoni voicing a new line for Eros exclusively for the desktop theme. The line is included in the quotes section above.
