The Skater Boy was one of Jacqueline Natla's hired mercenaries.

Biography[]

Recovering The Scion[]

Along with the Bald Man and the Cowboy, the Skater Boy ambushed Lara Croft in Egypt shortly after she had obtained the final piece of the Scion. The mercenaries helped themselves to the artefact and Lara's arsenal of weaponry. Following this, Lara escaped, diving off of the cliff-face and into the river far below.

Natla and the mercenaries headed for their yacht and set off for Atlantis. On board, the Bald Man was suspicious of large ripples that had appeared in the water but the Skater Boy was uninterested, dismissing it as a fish. It wasn't until the yacht arrived at the island of Atlantis that the Bald Man's suspicions were well founded. Lara was still alive.

At multiple locations throughout the now concluded Natla Technologies mining excavation, each of the mercenaries lay in wait for Lara. Each of them were defeated in turn, including the Skater Boy who was taken down in his own skate park. Lara took his uzis and continued on.

Trivia[]

Just like the Bald Man, and the Cowboy, he is never named in game.
- In the level WAD for Natla's Mines, he is named Skateboard Kid.
- In Tomb Raider: Anniversary, his counterpart is given the name, Jerome "The Kid" Johnson.
His quote "Are you firing to me?" is a reference to the movie Taxi Driver.
One polygon on the Skater Boy's right arm has been left untextured.
The uzis Lara collects from the Skater Boy could be considered either his or Lara's, depending on whether or not the player collected them prior to Natla's Mines. The kid was also already wielding a pair of uzis before he and the mercenaries had taken Lara's weapons from her.
