Spiders are enemies that appear in Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Lara Croft GO. In the former, they appear in two types. The smaller less harmful ones and the giant ones that reside in a large cave with a cocoon.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, spiders can be picked up after acquiring a skill "Owl's Meal" to harvest Dart Poison. The poison can be used to craft hallucinogenic Fear Arrows.
In Tomb Raider Reloaded, spiders come in two variations: smaller ones and big ones. When a big spider is killed two small spiders spawn in its place. A Huge spider is also a boss of the Andean Mountain Caves, it spits bullets, and when killed it splits in two, three times.

Tomb Raider II[]
When first created, the spiders were once grey coloured. It is unknown if the giant spiders were also once this colour. Later, the spiders were all changed to being black coloured with a red symbol on their backs.

- Although spiders do not appear in any FMV sequence, FMV models were used in a piece of promotional artwork for Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft as seen in the gallery above.
- Giant spiders, like the ones seen in Underworld, would have a much harder time surviving in the cold weather of Jan Mayen Island compared to Southern Mexico. Arachnids are cold blooded and usually not found in icy climates.
