Kuru is the one of the South Pacific islands in Indonesia that some of the Polynesians inhabited after they'd fled from Koma-Koma, Antarctica.
Charles Darwin's expedition, the Australian military and Lara Croft are known to have visited Kuru.
Lara found herself on the cannibal island. She explored the village inland, crash site where an airplane fell, and the terrain that villagers fenced off their place against dinosaurs.
