Nightmare in Vegas is the fifth level of the Tomb Raider II: Golden Mask. It can only be accessed by completing the first 4 levels and finding all 12 secrets. In it, Lara travels to Las Vegas on holiday, but finds a show that goes wrong.

It is presumed that this was just Lara's bad dream after her adventures looking for the Dagger of Xian and Mask of Tornarsuk, shown by a strange T-Rex and the Guardian of the Kingdom (which she encountered during her past adventures) mysteriously appearing in the apartment in the middle of the night, as well as various strange rooms appearing and Winston following her.

Trivia

• During the development the level was called "Viva Las Vegas!" and it was heavily changed in the final release:
  • Initially the stage was in black and white, with Lara and gold colors highlighted.
  • The enemies resembling Elvis were replaced with Fiamma Nera and A.V.A.L.A.N.C.H.E. goons.
  • Lara wore a different more casual leopard printed outfit.
  • Secrets were different from the main Golden Mask, representing Elvis, T-Rex, and King Kong.
